Private Equity Communications was launched in 2014 by Kimberly Romaine after being inspired by the great work the mid-market does to grow businesses - but feeling there was little proof beyond pure numbers. 

She moved from New York to London in 2001, just as Europe's buyout industry was taking off. Following an MSc at the London School of Economics, she entered the private equity industry, initially within a boutique fundraising adviser and then as a journalist, serving as editor-in-chief of Unquote" (now Mergermarket).

She has over 20 years' experience spanning journalism, data, fundraising and market research and provides a senior-level, bespoke service to buyout houses, VCs, advisers, associations, credit funds and banks.
